One of the things love about rain is the droplets it leaves behind on windows.
I don’t know what it is. Maybe it’s the clarity of the water, the somewhat circular shapes, or maybe the fact that each droplet looks like it has its own individual world in it. Either way, water mesmerizes me.
No matter the area or time, rain leaves something behind when it arrives, despite it never having a body or conscience. Rain of course leaves…Water, but it leaves so much more. It leaves life, it leaves beauty, but it can also leave destruction.
Floods, storms, the anger of mother nature. Another bizarre thing is everywhere rain goes, people experience it differently. A sprinkle for you is a storm for another. Some plant water for them is a flood for you.
What you do affects the people around you, and it affects the universe, no matter how small the action. You can shower the world with droplets or destroy it with a storm.
What you do means something, everywhere you go, we’re all vital to the world.
On an unrelated note, a friend I met through mutual friends has passed away. I didn’t know him well, but I know he loved to have a good time with the people he loved. His death has affected many and he will not be forgotten. Rest in peace Daniel Barbero (DJ).
